The back nine is my favorite in all of Las Vegas along with the back nine at Southern Highlands which a great collection of Par 3's, 4's and 5's. The total feel is so distinctive and captivating that I believe it should be labeled one-of a-kind! The green boomerangs around the only bunker on the hole and if the pin is on the right side of the putting surface then the hole is ripe for the taking.
The surrounding land around it in North Las Vegas has been built up since. This course ticked off a lot of the old guard when it was ranked among the top courses in the world after only being open for two years.
A virtual island green, the backdrop is an impressive waterfall that tumbles down the rocks and into a pond that front the putting surface. May we assure you, descriptions, however grand, do not begin to do this masterpiece justice. At first built as a private club for Wynn, the Vegas hotel and real-estate magnate, to entertain his clients and celebrity friends, Shadow Creek has been open to the public for roughly 20 years. Every hillside, creek, lake, and waterfall was carefully and meticulously built by hand. Its my opinion that it is the overall experience that you are truly paying for. The course is structured so that holes run mostly north and south so that the sun won't be in your eyes when you play. Whatever you want, you can have. How much does it cost to make something special in Las Vegas?? It's definitely a course where I'll putt better the more I play it. Alas, this once-in-a-lifetime dream design has been too successful, triggering many equally expensive, but inferior, imitations. This is where Jordan, Clooney and Matt Damon hang out, away from the glaring spotlight of their very public lives. Shadow Creek You may have heard a tale or two from friends of friends or even read an article of the famed Shadow Creek golf course, but we can assure you that nothing you've heard or read does justice to this incredible course in Las Vegas. Shadow Creek is a must play and must be experienced by any true golfer only then can you truly appreciate the grandeur of Shadow Creek. Caddie and Drivers tip are not included. Only two golfers can stay per room to earn access to tee time reservation. So a group of 8 golfers would need to book 4 rooms minimum to get two tee times at Shadow Creek.
