Former France coach, Raymond Domenech, says Marseille defender, Patrice Evra risks life ban for launching a kick at a fan who allegedly insulted him during warm-up ahead of Thursday night Europa League game against Vitoria Guimaraes.
Evra, who was caught on tape assaulting the supporter, was sent off before the match.
The 36-year-old former Manchester United and Juventus man watched from outside the pitch as his team suffered 1-0 loss to the home side.
Reacting, Domenech told L’Equipe TV that the action was “suicide” and could end his career.
The coach added, “He knows it’s over and he will not play anymore.”
