  8. Do people even know?
  9. Or do they misinterpret,
  10. not caring about message
  11. or whether another child
  12. ends up in the ER
  13. wrapped in bandages?
  15. Perhaps if the children
  16. were encircled instead
  17. in bright blue bandages
  18. and set along the road
  19. pitiful and helpless
  20. passersby would get it.
  22. You'd hear then
  23. a momentary sigh;
  24. "Oh well, what can be done?
  25. I mean, there's just so many"
  26. and they, each and every,
  27. will drive on by.
