Tunisia has one of the largest museums in North Africa and it is called the Bardo National Museum. Originally, it was built to be a Hafsid palace in the 15th century. The museum exhibits major finds over the millennia and of the civilizations that have come and gone in the country. You can see the Blue Koran of Kairouan as well as different ceramic collections from Asia Minor and North Africa. Roman Mosaics and Roman God Statues can also be seen here.
