The Museum of Nevis History used to be called the Nelson Museum. This historical museum is situated in Charlestown at Bellevue in Nevis. It contains everything about Nevis Island from its birth up to the present activities – all the important documents are stored in the museum archives. The previous owner of the Montpelier Estate, Horatio Nelson, left behind a lot of his memorabilia. His things were preserved and displayed in the museum.
