There's no such thing as an unmanaged server - It's actually self-managed. Worth remembering next time you're looking for someone to complain to.

it's not the first time some host does this ( i use 50+ small web hosts so i know), sometimes payments don't register and scripts suspends accounts by mistake
but its the first time a host posts advertising on the forum while pretending he is not seeing the tickets

Just call them and see if it helps and backup your data once it's up, then you can decide whether you want to change host or not .

Did you submit the ticket via the client area or like via emailing support@? If via the client area, it still shows the ticket in your tickets list? And was that to support or like billing? If just billing, try doing one to support if you haven't.
Whois is masking their phone number and they don't list it on their site. You can try to get the old whois via http://whois.domaintools.com/hostmastered.net at a fee but it may not be a valid number on there .
