The History of Internet Explorer-
Internet Explorer 1. IE 1 was first revealed on August 16th, 1995. IE 1 was made to run on Windows 95.
Internet Explorer 2. IE 2 was released on November 22nd, 1995 for Windows 95, Windows NT 3.5, and NT 4.0. Later on they released a Mac version of IE 2 in January of 1996.
Internet Explorer 3. IE 3 was realeased on August 13th, 1996. This was the first major browser to have CSS support, and was also when the blue "e" logo was introduced to Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer 4. IE 4 was released in September of 1997 for Windows 95 and Windows 98.
Internet Explorer 5. IE 5 was released on March 18th, 1999 for Windows 98 Second Edition and was bundled with Microsoft Office 2000 and Outlook Express 5.
Internet Explorer 6. IE 6 was released on August 27th, 2001, this came a few months before Windows XP. Some new features that came with IE 6 are as follows, Media bar, Windows Messenger integration.
Internet Explorer 7. IE 7 was released on October 18th, 2006. IE 7 included tabbed web browsing with both tab preview and management, and a multiple engine search box. IE 7 is included with Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008, and is also available for Windows XP Service Pack 2.
Internet Explorer 8. IE 8 was released on March 19th, 2009. The first public beta was released on March 5th, 2008 and on August 27th, 2008 the second beta was released. IE 8 is supported in Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 for both 32-bit and 64-bit.
Internet Explorer 9. IE 9 was released on March 14th, 2011. IE 7 is supported on Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008. IE 9 also supports several CSS 3 properties which include border-radius, box-shadow, and more.
Internet Explorer 10. IE 10 became available on October 26th, 2012 for Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012, it later became available for Windows 7 on February 26th, 2013.

The History of Google Chrome-
Google Chrome was publicly released for Windows XP and later versions on September 2nd, 2008, this was the official beta version.
Version 1.0 was released on December 11th, 2008 which was the first stable release.
Google Chrome released beta versions of Chrome for OS X and Linux in December 2009.
Version 2.0 was released on May 24th, 2009. This release contained mouse wheel support, full-screen mode, full-page zoom, basic Greasemonkey support.
Version 3.0 was released on October 12th, 2009. This release gave users the ability to install themes to alter the appearance of the browser.
Version 4.0 was released on January 25th, 2010 along with the extension gallery containing over 1,500 extensions. As of February 4th, 2011, the extension gallery featured over 11,500 extensions.
Version 5.0 was announced on May 25th, 2010 and was the first stable release to support all three OS's.
Version 6.0 was released on September 2nd, 2010. This release contained a few new things, things like, new tab page, merged menu buttons, form auto-fill.
Version 7.0 was released on October 21st, 2010. This release contained new options for managing cookies, implemented HTML5 parsing algorithm.
Version 8.0 was released on December 2nd, 2010. This release included a built in PDF viewer that works inside Chrome's sandbox for increased security, improved plug-in handling.
Version 9.0 was released with The Chrome Web Store on February 11th, 2011.
Version 10.0 was released on March 8th, 2011. This release contained GPU accelerated video, background WebApps, password sync added to Chrome sync, settings page opens in a tab rather than a dialogue box.
Version 11.0 was released on April 27th, 2011. This release contained HTML5 Speech Input API and an updated icon.
Version 12.0 was released on June 7th, 2011. This release contained hardware accelerated #D CSS, ability to delete flash cookies from inside Chrome, improved screen reader support, experimental new tab page.
Version 13.0 was released on August 2nd, 2011. This release contained instant pages, experimental new tab page, native print interface and preview.
Version 14.0 was released on September 16th, 2011. This release contained Web Audio API, additional Mac OS X Lion feature support, sync encryption for all data, print preview on Mac, validation of HTTPS sites.
Version 15.0 was released on October 25th, 2011. This release contained faster print preview, redesigned new tab page, JavaScript full-screen API enabled by default, inline installation of Chrome Web Store items by verified sites, Extensions integrated into settings pages, GPU accelerated Canvas 2D disabled.
Version 16.0 was released on December 13th, 2011. This release contained multiple profiles on by default, experimental support for side tabs was removed.
Version 17.0 was released on February 8th, 2012. This release contained download scanning protection, new extensions API's, improved history tab, adjustable margins in print preview.
Version 18.0 was released on March 28th, 2012. This release contained a brighter new tab button, and hardware-accelerated Canvas2D graphics.
Version 19.0 was released on May 15th, 2012. This release contained access tabs between devices, reorganized and searchable settings interface, added better spell check, Web Store link to the bottom of New Tab page.
Version 20.0 was released on June 26th, 2012. This release contained a new tab button which is bigger and wider.
Version 21.0 was released on July 31st, 2012. This release contained Gamepad API, HTML5 audio/video.
Version 22.0 was released on September 25th, 2012. This release contained new menu icon (replacing the wrench icon), added support for TLS 1.1.
Version 23.0 was released on November 6th, 2012. This release contained manager for site permission control, hardware video acceleration with 25% more efficient power consumption, new icon for Chrome Web Store when opening a new tab.
Version 24.0 was released on January 10th, 2013. This release contained support for MathML, HTML5 datalist element now supports suggesting a date and time, experimental support for CSS custom filters.
Version 25.0 was released on February 21st, 2013. This release contained Opus audio support, VP9 video support, Web Speech API, encrypted omnibox search, disabled MathML support.
Version 26.0 was released on March 26th, 2013. This release contained improved spell checker, desktop shortcuts for multiple users on Windows, Asynchronous DNS resolver on Mac and Linux.

The History of Safari-
Safari 1 was both announced by Steve Jobs and the beta was released on January 7th, 2003. The last version of Safari 1 was is supported by Mac OS X v10.3.
Safari 2 was released a little over 2 years later on April 29th, 2005. The final stable version was Safari 2.0.4 which was released on January 10th, 2006 for Mac OS X. 2.0.4 was the last version to be exclusively released on Mac OS X.
Safari 3 was announced on June 11th, 2007. This version would be for Mac OS X v10.5, Windows XP, and Windows Vista.
Safari 4 beta was publicly released on February 24th, 2009 with features such as the Top Sites tool, Cover Flow, and tabs in title bar.
Safari 5 was released on June 7th, 2010 which featured the new Safari Reader and a 30% JavaScript performance increase compared to Safari 4. Safari 5 also included improved developer tools and supports more than a dozen new HTML5 technologies. 5.1 was released for both Windows and Mac on July 20th, 2011 with the new function "Reading List" and a faster browsing experience.
Safari 6 the stable release was coincided with the release of OS X Mountain Lion on July 25th, 2012 and integrated into the OS. With integrating it into Mountain Lion it is no longer available for download on the Apple website or other sources. Safari 6 is not available for Windows. On June 11th, 2012 Apple released a developer preview of 6.0 with a new feature called iCloud Tabs, this allowed users to sync their open tabs with any iOS or OS X device running the late software.
Safari 7 was announced at Apple's World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) on June 10th, 2013. The preview brought improvements in JavaScript performance and memory usage along with a new look for Top Sites and the Sidebar, and a new shared links feature. Safari 7 for OS X Mavericks and Safari 6.1 for Lion and Mountain Lion are slated for general release in the fall of 2013.
Safari 6.0 requires a Mac that is running Mac OS X v10.7.4 or later.
Safari 5.1.7 requires a Mac that is running Mac OS X v10.6.8 or any PC running Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later, Windows Vista, or Windows 7.
Safari 5.0.6 requires a Mac that is running Mac OS X v10.5.8.

The History of Opera-
Opera was first released publicly with version 2.0 in 1996. This version only ran on Microsoft Windows.
Opera 4.0 was released in 2000 which included a cross-platform core that facilitated the creation of editions of Opera for multiple Operating Systems and platforms.
Opera was trialware, this meant Opera had to be purchased after the trial period ended. Opera 5.0 ended this requirement and became ad-sponsored which displayed ads to users who had not paid for Opera. Later versions of Opera gave users the choice of seeing banner ads or targeted advertisements from Google.
Opera 8.5 was released in 2005, this version ended the advertisements and they were removed completely. Opera is now financially supported by revenue from Google which is Opera's default search engine.
Opera 9.1 was released in 2006 and contained new features such as fraud protection, digital certificate provider, PhishTank.
Opera 9.5 added malware protection from Haute Secure and GeoTruse was replaced with Netcraft.
Editions of Opera were released in 2006 for Nintendo's DS and Wii gaming systems. Opera for Wii was called the "Internet Channel."
Opera 10.5 introduced a new JavaScript engine called Carakan, this made Opera seven times faster than SunSpider in Opera 10.1.
Opera 11 was released on December 16th, 2010, with features such as extensions, tab stacking, visual mouse gestures, and changes to the address bar.
Opera 12 was released on June 14th 2012.
Opera announced on February 12th, 2013 that it would drop Presto engine and transition it's web browsers to use WebKit.
Opera 15 beta was released on May 28th, 2013. Features from previous versions are no longer present, and Opera Mail has been split into a standalone application.
