I am 100% sure that ssd hosting will give much better opportunities. It is 10x times faster than ordinary hosting.
Kvchosting.com have been hosting my site for 7 months now with no outages.

Yeah, I totally agree. SSd hosting is much faster. For me, Hostwinds.com is the best ssd host I've ever tried before.
It is just amazing web hosting provider. I will definitely continue using their reliable services.

IMHO, it will be much more reasonable to deal with reputed ssd web hosts like for instance, HostingSource.com - these guys are superb.
Don't hesitate to contact their sales rep, he can also give you some discounts or promos.
You will find out the availability of their systems administrators and send them a support ticket and see how fast they respond.

Can be combined - under the base to put the SSD, for storing files - HDD
SSD is faster and HDD is cheaper.

When you look at the two technologies, then, it's clear that solid state drives are technically superior in many areas. But there's a problem: they're also expensive, and with much lower capacities
HDD have alot more space for your buck. SSD primarily are far superior in IOPS.
While SSD should be faster , but still depends on many factors and really depends on how many accounts are on each of the servers.
Whether SSD speeds up your hosting much is really determined by how much memory your Linux server has.
If you have a popular website and the server has a lot of memory, most of your files should be in the filesystem cache, which is way faster (think 100s of times faster) than SSD. So if you host has spent more money on memory rather than on SSD, they might have done you a favour.
However, if your website seldom gets hits, this is where SSD really helps, as it is faster for reading by about 25x.
