CRYPTO-CURRENCIES NEWS: Hackaton - hacker brainstorming in American style
The state of Illinois supports the blockade hackathon.
IBI Hack, a monthly virtual hackathon that will start on July 1, is being organized by the Blockchain Initiative of Illinois at the same time as the startup of the Fulcrum startup. The event is open to students and recent university graduates from around the world, and applicants must be listed by July 31.
IBI Hack is part of the Blockchain Illinois month, which will feature a series of educational blockbuster events throughout the state. Educational activities are aimed at ensuring that people learn what constitutes a blockade and what it is capable of.
State Governor Bruce Rauner said:
"Illinois is a state of innovation, and I'm proud that our young men and women participate in the Illinois Blockchain Initiative Hack (IBI Hack).
If we expand the rights and opportunities of our youth, then we expand the capabilities of the state".
The initiative was made public in November, as part of a large-scale effort by government officials to use innovative technologies for public sector applications. The initiative is supported by a number of state agencies, including the Cook County Registry, who previously studied the concept of time markers on documents (also based on the block system).
Hackaton is the latest experimental development for blockade in Illinois. Two weeks ago, several of Chicago's largest enterprises also joined forces with the state government to launch a new blockhouse center. In March, Illinois joined the R3, DLT consortium, which brings together dozens of banks around the world.
