Transcranial magnetic stimulation, or TMS, is a revolutionary treatment for people who have depression that doesn't respond to medication. Beginning in 2008, FDA-approved treatments have continued for 14 years with encouraging outcomes. Anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), addiction, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other mental health conditions are subjects of exciting research. Nebraska Medicine is looking forward to offering TMS treatment to patients before the end of 2022 because it is confident that it will make a difference for people who suffer from depression.
