This is a free fan-made modification for Age of Empires III and requires both expansions to work. Wars of Liberty is an update of our previous mod, War of the Triple Alliance. All contents from WotTA can be found in WoL. There was one spot on Earth, however, that was ignored for a long time... We're at the modern era and all empires have focused their attention on this long forgotten, but now desirable, region. Let the scramble begin! This mod is set in Africa. The new continent has several new random maps, wild animals, vegetation, coin sources. Enter into business with the local African Commodity traders. It's large line-of-sight makes it useful for penetrating deep into enemy territory. Has a bonus against villagers in Melee. We suggest you try the with no filter applied, to browse all available. For some reason i ran into a few strange stuff being on 1. I applied the latest patch, and started going through everything. I recall, that on an earlier patch on Alps map i have got the new european colonies, but right now i got Huron and Cheyenne trade camps spawn in. In Black Forest i got no trade route around the map. African Trade camps just grant tickle in some form? None of them allows me to research or train anything. What comes to my mind also is that the Germans special jaeger card in the church did not ship anything at all. If i recall correctly WoL team said it is a lot more work to remove and re-add the finished maps then let them stay and update them when fully finished. African trading posts don't do anything yet. A ton of new maps are included too. There is soo much to discover and most of it is balanced aswell. The only reason why i didn't give a 10 is because numerous bugs and glitches.
