Alongside its colocation services, Switch Datacenters offers tailormade corporate data centers. Its Amsterdam-based data centers - Switch AMS1 and Switch AMS2 - are connected by a 10 GbE dark fiber solution. By launching a “wholesale Data Center-as-a-Service program” the company can rapidly deploy data centers on a “global scale”.

The service is the result of research and development by the company and includes racks and “deployment of security technologies onsite”. It allows organizations to license the company’s patented data center technologies to “obtain an integrated, full-service data center infrastructure package” with and features that include energy-efficient cooling (patented indirect adiabatic cooling technologies), modular power infrastructure, and modular/scalable power supply solutions.
