According to a statement issued by Senior Special Assistant to the president on media and publicity, Garba Shehu, in Abuja on Saturday, President Buhari has continued to receive felicitations from prominent personalities and leaders across the world following his remarkable recovery from the medical condition that took him abroad.
The latest Leader to call was from the Turkish Leader, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, disclosed this in a statement in Abuja on Saturday.
According to Shebi, During the telephone conversation, the two leaders also discussed at length, the forthcoming 9th Summit of D8, at the end of October in Istanbul. Mr Erdogan extended an invitation to President Buhari for his participation.
President Buhari expressed his gratitude for the good wishes.
