How to update URLs when moving your WordPress Site
There comes a time when you want or have to move your site from a location to another, and you might not want to rewrite every link and URL to the new location. There is a plugin that will do that for you. It`s called Velvet Blues Pluging for WordPress . You will imput your new website URL and it will automatically update every link to your blog.
For starters, get it first, activate it, then go to the settings tab and click “update Urls”. You will then have to select your Old URL and your New URL for it to know from where an where to. Chose which URLs you want to be updated and click update then. This is the easiest way I know for you to update your URLs when moving sites.
