  1. Everybody knows about the new Heisman candidate, Redshirt Freshman Jameis Winston. He is a phenomenal quarterback for the Florida State Seminoles, completing 25 out of 27 passes and no interceptions in his first career game and start. Charlie Ward was not nearly this good in his first season, throwing interceptions left and right. I believe "Famous Jameis" will be leaving FSU for the National Football League after his Sophomore year, due to his consistency, his attitude, and his focus.
  2. The real future for Florida State lies in the hands of Sophomore backup quarterback Jacob Coker. According to head coach Jimbo Fisher, he was just a hair behind Winston in the race for the starting position. When Coker is on the field, he gets the job done almost as good as Winston. He throws blocks for his running backs and completes passes just as well as any good quarterback. When on the field during the game versus Pittsburgh, he completed 2 for 2 passes for 21 yards; he is dependable, even as a backup quarterback.
  3. In conclusion, Jimbo Fisher has brought Florida State back from the dead. FSU has plenty of players that can mature over years, and recruits coming out of their ears.
  4. Florida State has risen again.
