  1. ANN ARBOR -- Michigan has the lead, but it's not exactly been pretty.
  2. The 8th-ranked Wolverines fumbled three times in the first half, including one that resulted in points for Cincinnati, yet still lead 17-7 at the break at Michigan Stadium.
  3. Michigan raced to an early 14-0 lead, scoring on its first drive of the game on a 43-yard touchdown pass from Wilton Speight to Kekoa Crawford, then following up with a Tyree Kinnel pick-6 for 28 yards with 6:50 to go.
  4. But a series of blunders have kept Cincinnati in this one. A botched first-quarter punt return that bounced off the back of Benjamin St-Juste gave the ball back to the Bearcats, who responded with a 38-yard drive ending in a 1-yard touchdown run for Mike Boone
