  1. Wifi Hacking V0.1
  2. Reaver
  3. ==============================
  4. What Is Reaver: Reaver is a software that exploits a vulnerability in wps based access points in a nutshell it does not require a wordlist the hardest part of getting a wifi password with Reaver is the waiting part for this hack we'll just need Kali Linux.
  5. Note: If you're using a virtual machine you'll need an external wifi adapter (also known as wireless card) personally I use an Alfa.
  6. ==============================
  7. Step By Step
  8. Step 1: Get your wireless card name to do that you're gonna wanna open up a terminal type 'iwconfig' (without the quotes) and hit 'Enter' mine usually shows as wlan0 or wlan1 if you get wlan2 copy that.
  9. Step 2: Put your wireless card in monitor mode to do that you type 'airmon-ng start wlan0' (if your card name is wlan0, remember to not put any quotes) and hit 'Enter' what you just did is you put your wireless card into monitor mode now you should see something like (monitor mode enabled on mon0) if it's mon0 then copy it if it's something else copy it just copy the name after 'on' in my case it's mon0.
  10. Step 3: Get the BSSID of the AP (Access Point) you're attacking to do that type 'airodump-ng wlan0' (without quotes) if that doesn't work try 'airodump-ng mon0' (without quotes) for me the second one works now you should start seeing all the routers around you now choose one of the WAP/WAP2 networks (look under ENC) and press ctrl + c to stop scanning now copy the BSSID of the network you chose.
  11. Step 4: Crack the AP finally to crack the AP type 'reaver -i Monitor Interface -b BSSID' and hit enter lets say your target's BSSID was 66:3B:G8 and your monitor interface was mon0 you type 'reaver -i mon0 -b 66:3B:G8' (again without the quotes) and you hit enter and you're done.
  12. ==============================
  13. Tip: Use -vv for verbose mode this way you'll see more of what Reaver is doing.

  15. Update coming soon.
