  2. I've found an expired domain from the subdomain of my competitor.

  16. I and my competitor have NICHE 1
  17. The expired domain X has NICHE 2
  19. Most of the links to the expired domain X have either naked URL, generic or author name as anchor text.
  21. Before expiring, X was pointing to a 3rd domain (as the company had switched the name of their brand from X to a new one).
  23. Now, should I 301 redirect the domain to my money site? Or should I build a site around it and place a link on the homepage after aging the site?
  24. If it’s a niche relevant make it a pbn and power up your site, 301 power doesn’t last for long
  25. The site is not niche relevant. But it's getting a backlink from my competitor. Other backlinks are not that relevant. But the anchor text is more of a generic one so that won't be a problem I think.
  26. I will suggest to set it as a PBN and take a link from it. If your competitor's link pointing to the root domain, then link from the home page. Or if the link pointing to any other post/pages, then relive it. Relive with relevant content and take a link from it.
  27. Thanks. This should help as nearly all links are pointing to the domain. One more thing though, Should I scrape and post the old content to it or should I create new content with a mix of both the niches (NICHE 1 X NICHE 2)?
  28. If the old contents are still unique then definitely relive it with the older one. Why bother creating new content when you have the old database?
  29. Seems like it's a restaurant-style site with not much content.
  31. If I get more than one EXPIRED domain, should I create a large PBN and gradually link to my money site or should I redirect them to my web 2.0's?
  32. As these are expired domains, I believe they won't be as good...
