Do you know what your leadership style is?
Here are a few common leadership styles which we typically see in the workplace:
✅ Autocratic: No-nonsense, old-school approach. It’s a “Do as I say,” with no questions asked. Input from employees is rarely asked for, and this leader ALWAYS has the final word.
✅ Democratic: Seeks input from everyone about the best way to do something. They get employee buy-in before making a final decision, which can lead to more team engagement.
✅ Coaching: Untapped potential is the name of the game here. Coaching style leaders see opportunities to grow and challenge employees, with the proper amount of mentorship and guidance along the way.
✅ Laissez-Faire Style: Think the other end of the spectrum than the autocratic leader. This individual has complete trust in their team to go with the flow and stay on task with minimal supervision.
