  1. Theory:
  2. I have been pasting to BitBin.it for a long while now, and lately I have noticed an interesting trend.
  3. Pastes that have virtually no content, or only a link, or a few words tend to only get between 150 and 450 hits, however, pastes that contain more useful information tend to get more hits.
  4. So my theory is, the more relevant information is inside a single paste, the more hits that paste will get, and the more ads are display, paying out more Satoshi in turn.
  5. Testing the theory:
  6. So, in order to test this theory, I just pasted the theory section above by itself into a paste http://bitbin.it/CQR7p2rt/ and I will let it go for a little bit, then I will paste this section of the document in addition as a new paste.
  7. I will then check the hits on both pastes and start documenting the statistics in the next few pastes, with each paste getting longer and longer.
  8. If my theory pans out, each of these pastes will garner more and more hits.
  9. Statistics:
  10. 1st update
  11. So, there was 1 hour and 22 minutes between the first post and the second post https://bitbin.it/NxmIVlIm/ , and the first post had about 270 hits by then, and my motivation paste of the say was 1 hour and 54 minutes prior, and only had 230 hits, more time but less words, so I have a preliminary assessment.
  12. We will see after I go out for lunch if the next theory paste of this document got even more hits than the first paste…
  13. 2nd update
  14. So I just pasted the 3rd revision http://bitbin.it/78QdiQ5I/ of my theory paper. It’s been 2 hours 52 minutes since the 2nd update and I have 382 hits on that one, and 303 hits on the first update. I am curious how this will continue to develop over the next few hours until the hits are converted to satoshis, and also what the satoshi paid-out will be for each paste.
  15. I plan on pasting my last update from work right before I leave work, and then will continue to monitor the status from home and update right after the hits are converted.
