  1. Think back to when you first went to school. Were you immediately presented with 10 or more years of lessons and textbooks at one time?
  2. Of course not, that’d be ridiculous.
  3. You were presented with one lesson at a time.
  4. You had a teacher (I hope) who made sure you understood the current lesson before you were shown the next more advanced lesson.
  5. This way you could understand the foundational concepts before learning the more advanced ones.
