  3. I took the iPhone of a family member and tried to perform the same purchase. Had unauthorized login attempts to my bank account, Netflix, and old Hotmail account in the last few days. I rebooted the iPad, and signed out and back into my iTunes account within the iBooks app — still no change and the same error when trying to buy a book.
  4. I sympathize with my fellow App browsers, App purchasers and in App purchasers. Currently some customers simply see a spinning circle indicating that a song is in the process of being downloaded, but nothing happens. Then I got a new error stating that my Paypal account could not be verified, that there was a billing problem with a previous purchase, and that I needed to update my payment method.
  5. I tried signing out and signing back in from itunes, and I was able to sign out, but now when I try to sign in I get the dialogue box, and it doesn't sign me in. This afternoon, Apple issued a statement, saying: 'We apologise to our customers experiencing problems with iTunes and other services this morning. The front pages of both the App Store and Mac App Store are accessible, but there are broken pages on the sites when accessing individual apps. Currently some customers simply see a spinning circle indicating that a song is in the process of being downloaded, but nothing happens. Others are shown an error page saying that content cannot be displayed, or that the store is temporarily unavailable and could itunes store unable to process purchases complete their request, when they try to download an album. The status page also reveals that some users had problems accessing their iCloud mail this morning and may have been unable to sign in. Apple itunes store unable to process purchases currently working on this and we do apologise. TestFlight - a service used by developers to test apps - is also down, as well as Apple Support, meaning it is hard for customers to get help in accessing the services. Tweet to embed: is the store down atm keep getting this message. For example, it's been reported that it's possible to download apps from the Indian App Store, but music tracks are inaccessible. But now Apple has said the outage is affecting all its users across the world, but has yet to respond to MailOnline's request for comment. The App Store was last down on Monday, but the move was intentional as Apple prepared to launch its Apple Watch in San Francisco.
