If the story is correct, then there is more to this story. I could easily say maybe they were having issues and the man arranged with some people to rob him and rape his wife so that he can easily divorce the woman. Do they have kids? Even if the man decides to change his mind, the marriage is already doomed because of this knee jerk reaction
